Spike the budgie can cross stitch better than I can

We’ve all heard “I don’t eat anything with a face” and “I don’t eat anything with a mother,” but how about “I don’t eat anything that can cross stitch?” Spike the budgie has been named Cross-Stitcher magazine’s young cross stitcher of the year. Yep, she can work a needle and thread. While she’s not the greatest when it comes to figuring out patterns, I’d imagine her work is better than most human 3 year olds, and holy crap, birds never cease to amaze me with their cleverness.
