Attack of the naked vegetables!

by Jason on February 18, 2003

Well, we haven’t had any naked vegetable pictures in a while, so… While I think we’ve seen one or both of “curvaceous carrot” and “horny carrot” before, “moving into adulthood” and “the virgin in waiting” are new ones to me, and no, I didn’t make up the titles… (via Geisha asobi blog) Add to this the vagina carrot that was doing the rounds (um, I hope you know what I mean) last week (via luckubrick), and you get, well, something anyway. Definitely something.

Ah, Liane, quiet little Liane, the one you least suspect, then boom, the porn flies! She sent one picture that’s probably making the rounds right now, but image something between this photo spread and this image. I swear I’ve seen these before, but I can’t find a link, so here you go.

The vegan film you’ve likely never seen

by Jason on December 3, 2001

Mirha-Soleil Ross sent me a note about a “trans-polysexual-vegan-docu-porno” that she and Mark Karbusicky made last year. G-SprOuT! is a 12 minute film that this blurb says “…is part vegan tranny-porn, part slaughterhouse snuff film. Veggie lovers speak out on dating, intimacy and sex in a meat-centered culture. You are who you eat“. The official promo is attached. Has anyone seen this who would like to comment on it? The producers say that they’ve had great success in the gay and lesbian film circuits, but there’s been a lot of resistance in the vegtarian and animal rights movements due to the sexually explicit nature of the film. I find that kinda funny, since AR groups usually try to shock and disturb omnivores with slaughterhouse footage… Incidentally, if you’re in Toronto, there’ll be a showing at the Sex and Death Film Festival Friday Dec 7 at 9pm over at the Bloor cinema. I was away yesterday, but I happened to flip through PETA‘s magazine/catalog thing, and there was a reference to the “get your cat fixed” TV ad they made a while back. Yeah, it’s almost a year old, but the all knowing Velvet Lamb hadn’t heard of it, so maybe some of you haven’t either. In any event, it’s not a bad way to pass a Sunday afternoon. You can watch it on RealPlayer through FixCats.com, or if you prefer QuickTime (and a really slow download), you can watch it over at AdCritic.com. “Kitty porn” at its finest.

Still more Vegan Porn

by Jason on October 10, 2001

Well, Willow didn’t check out the pornography section and she sent in the infamous vegetable sex pics. There was one in there that I hadn’t seen before though, so in the interest of completeness

More vegan porn!

by Jason on September 15, 2001

I know everybody checks out the pornography section, so I know you’ve all seen these pictures. I was researching the impact of eggs and dairy on pornography with a search for “vegetarian porn”, and I found the rest of them. Anyway, it’s the credit where credit may be due department – check out The Moon, which has a lot of other pages that are worth a read and maybe a laugh. I haven’t read every page on the site, so there’s bound to be something there to piss you off. The Moon is run by the folks at Magick River, which you might like also.

Higher learning never looked so good!

by Jason on August 26, 2001

Well, I can’t find anything decent today on “vegan”, so let’s move on to “porn”. Tired of advertising in the classroom, particularly when it promotes a pro-milk/meat message? Looks like we may soon be able to drown ‘em out with pornography – it’s a report on the rising number of college courses on porn! My favourite is the one at Wesleyan University where students are required to produce a pornographic work as a final project. I’ll save 80% of you the trouble and look it up – it’s in Connecticut.

Weird weird censorship

by Jason on July 29, 2001

Rather than worry about whether a bottle of wine contains fish guts, it appears that the American Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms would rather worry about naked people on the bottle label. Peter Lehmann Wines seems to have a thing for putting naked people on their labels, and the 1999 bottle of Semillon is no exception. However, due to government pressure (such as banning the bottle), North Americans are going to get a wine bottle with a dress painted over a woman’s breasts, while the rest of the world gets to see nipples! It’s not fair. Before I get too worked up over it, I’ve emailed Peter Lehmann wines to see if the wine is suitable for vegetarians, i.e. contains no fish guts or gelatin. It would be so cool if they are veggie friendly – I wouldn’t have to remember the name of the company, I’d just go into the wine shop and ask to see the naked people. I’ll keep you posted.

What to wear, what to wear…

by Jason on July 23, 2001

I’ve had a few requests for information on non-leather fetish wear. Before you break down and try to make something sexy out of some really bad soy cheese slices (it’s not like they’re edible or anything), check these out – in the UK, Skin Two specializes in rubber and latex fashions for men and women. On this side of the planet, while Eye Candy International has some leather stuff, they also have a spiffy logo and are a constant source of education. I thought the “kinky” section was redundant until I clicked on it. Now I’m going to hell. Smiling. Research for these links led to a lot of goth culture sites, including this veggiegoth FAQ, which wisely advises vegangoths to get some sun once in a while for vitamin D and all. As an aside, did you know you can buy fangs and coffins online?

You knew this would happen.

by Jason on May 30, 2001

No self respecting vegan porn site would be complete without, well, vegan porn. Gigi sent in this, which is about as interesting as this. And oh, let’s not forget this. I’m so glad I added a maturity threshold… Thanks also go out to Phil for his dubious connections in the VP underworld. Level 5.
